Did you know that if you’re 70½ or older, you can make a charitable donation directly from your IRA — and it can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) while potentially reducing your taxable income? It’s called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), and it’s a smart, simple way to support the causes you care about most.

Here’s how it works:

In 2025, you can give up to $108,000 per person directly from your IRA to a qualified charity, like West Point Town Square.
The donation must go directly from your IRA to the charity — you can’t withdraw the funds yourself.
You’ll still need to take your RMD by December 31st each year.
